Emergency Bridge Replacement in Whitefield

emergency bridge installation in Whitefield Maine

Crews are currently finishing up with a 21 day shut down emergency job on the Kelley Brook Bridge in Whitefield. Here the previous structure failed and was determined to be no longer suitable for continued use. Crews installed a cofferdam for a dry work area. Then they excavated and removed the failing bridge and erected and installed a new steel multiplate culvert. The culvert has been back filled, and crews are completing the finishing touches on the job in order to get the road opened up to traffic.
