Design Build/Value Engineering

Increasingly in major construction projects, time and budget constraints call for accelerated project delivery through design-build and/or value engineering. Wyman & Simpson has considerable experience in both disciplines, providing integrated design, engineering and construction services to complete projects on time and within budget.

Contract Amount: $3.63 million

Completed: 2009

Wyman & Simpson constructed these two bridges carrying I-95 over Route 143 in Etna, Maine. The project replaced two outdated spans with a sufficiency rating of 50, so the contract stipulated an accelerated three-month delivery schedule.
